The top fast bowler of Team India, Jasprit Bumrah is to come back to the playing XI at Lord after being rested during the second game against the English Team at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. Pacer on the right arm bowled 5-83 in 24.4 overs on the first innings at Headingley, Leeds and got no wick in the second innings.
Akash Deep replaced Bumrah and put on an outstanding display in the second Test, taking 10 wickets overall, including a six-fer in the second innings. Prasidh Krishna is expected to be replaced by Bumrah at Lord’s since the latter has been incredibly costly and ineffectual in the first two games.
