Ravindra Jadeja had his own way of celebration as he bagged his fifth Test ton during the day, smashing a six over long-on off Harry Brook. This record was chalked up on Sunday, July 27, which was on Day 5 of the fourth Test match between England and India at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester by the left-handed batsman.
Brook threw one up outside off on the third ball of India’s second innings, the 141st over. To reach his hundred off 182 balls, Jadeja glided down the track and hit a six over long-on.
This time, the 36-year-old eschewed his usual sword celebration in favor of a Pushpa-style motion, raising his bat to his brow before swaggeringly sliding it sideways. Shubman Gill, the captain, was observed jokingly encouraging him to perform the famous sword swirl from the dressing room.
