India's Ravindra Jadeja during day five of the Third Rothesay Men's Test at Lord's

Ravindra Jadeja was India’s sole warrior in the fourth innings of the just completed Lord’s Test against England. Under duress, the seasoned all-rounder scored a tough half-century and finished undefeated at 61.

India had to chase a challenging 193-run total in the last innings. The visitors’ batting meltdown put them in a vulnerable situation. Working diligently for 181 deliveries, Jadeja demonstrated exceptional perseverance under duress.

The team lost heartbreakingly by 22 runs on Day 5 after being bowled out for 170. In 20.5 overs, with India struggling at 71/5, Jadeja came out to bat.
