Josh Inglis smashed 20 runs in the fifth over of the game against star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, giving Punjab Kings (PBKS) a ferocious start to their run chase against Mumbai Indians (MI). Who will play Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 Final on June 3 will be determined by the outcome of the high-stakes Qualifier 2 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
Inglis and Priyansh Arya were at the crease for PBKS as they chased a target of 204 when MI’s Bumrah was brought in for the fifth over of the powerplay. Inglis took on the seasoned pacer right away without exerting any strain.

Inglis utilized the angle to send the ball racing to the boundary after flicking a delivery wide of mid-wicket on the opening ball of the over. A slower off-cutter outside off was delivered by Bumrah after a couple of balls, but Inglis raced ahead and sent it over long-on for a six.
He beat the square leg defender to get another four on the fifth ball of the over, piercing the in-field once more. He slashed a short-of-length ball that was pitched outside off to end the over in style. The top-edge finished a 20-run over by flying over the highest fielder on the field, Reece Topley, at third man, for another maximum.
Pressure? What pressure? 😏
