Match No. 19 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will now be played on Tuesday, April 8 at 3:30 PM due to the decision of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The cricket match between KKR and LSG which was scheduled to run on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata will now unfold on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 3:30 PM.
Kolkata Police asked the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) to conduct this request to reschedule match no. 19 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants because of existing citywide festivities. Due to logistical constraints the authorities decided to change the match day and this request received official agreement.

In order to provide clarification, Sunday, April 6 will now be a single-header match day. As planned, Sunrisers Hyderabad will host Gujarat Titans at 7:30 PM (Match No. 20). According to the original schedule, Tuesday, April 8, would be a double-header match day. In the afternoon, KKR will play LSG in Kolkata, and in the evening, Punjab Kings will welcome Chennai Super Kings (Match No. 22) in New Chandigarh.
In the five IPL games that the reigning champions, the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Lucknow Super Giants, have faced off against one another, KKR has won two and LSG has won three. Reports state that Ram Navami’s lack of security is the cause for moving the conflict from April 6 to April 8.
