Because of the influence they have had on Indian cricket, the trio was listed among the esteemed “100 Most Powerful Indians.” Notably, The Indian Express publishes an annual list of the 100 most influential people and leaders in the country based on a variety of criteria, including politics, business, entertainment, and sports, to mention a few.

On their social media accounts, the Board of Control for Cricket in India congratulated Shah, the former secretary of the administrative body, and the three cricket players. Lately, there has been a lot of support for the comments section. It’s interesting to see that Jay Shah was put above all three of India’s stars. His ranking was 24th. On the coveted list, Rohit, Kohli, and Bumrah were ranked 48th, 72nd, and 83rd, respectively.

After just over five years as the BCCI Secretary, Shah was appointed chairperson of the ICC in December 2024. Bumrah, Kohli, and Rohit are currently playing for their respective teams in the 18th Indian Premier League (IPL). In addition to being important members of the team that won the Champions Trophy in 2025, the three were also essential to India’s victory in the T20 World Cup in 2024.

The Women’s ODI World Cup, Men’s T20 World Cup, and the Men’s ODI World Cup in 2027 are just a few of the major international tournaments that the ICC Chair has a highly ambitious agenda before of him. These occasions will determine Shah’s legacy as an international cricket contributor.
