“I got his signature on the ball” – Gujarat cricketer opens up on dismissing Virat Kohli in the Vijay Hazare Trophy

Vishal Jayswal made headlines during Delhi’s Round 2 Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Gujarat by dismissing Virat. In an interview with KADAK published on January 1, the 27-year-old stated that he did not have much time to chat with Kohli after the game but was able to get the ball signed and shared:
“He also had to leave, there wasn’t much time. As soon as the match ended, I wanted his signature on that ball, so I went to meet him. I got his signature on the ball. We didn’t talk much. He just said that I was bowling well, to keep at it, that I was doing a good job, and that I would get more opportunities going forward.”
Meanwhile, Cricbuzz reports that Virat may return to action in Delhi’s penultimate league encounter against Railways on January 6.
