Milind Kumar of the United States startled the Pakistani supporters at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo on Tuesday, February 10, with a wonderful catch to dismiss Babar Azam.
In the team’s 12th game of the 2026 T20 World Cup, Babar was on course for a half-century when Ayub and Salman Ali Agha departed late in the powerplay. The ex-Pakistan captain tried to hit Mohammad Mohsin out of the park but didn’t time it the way he would have wanted.

Milind, who was fielding at long-on, had to sprint forward since the ball was dying on him. Finally, the 34-year-old USA all-rounder dived to catch the ball inches above earth. He rolled over to keep his elbows from contacting the ground. Babar’s knock was finished by an expertly chosen effort on the field, when he scored 46 off 32 balls, including four fours and one six.
