In Match 40 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, Rajasthan Royals (RR) chased down a massive 223 runs against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Tuesday, April 28. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the opening batter, removed his front foot and played a helicopter shot to the boundary for a six when Lockie Ferguson bowled a yorker.
Ferguson was bowling his first over of the second innings in the second over against a red-hot Sooryavanshi. With ease, the 15-year-old did not find any difficulty against the Kiwi and casually played a helicopter shot into the crowd, mimicking his left-handed version of the famous MS Dhoni shot. Sooryavanshi finished with 43 off 16 as the Royals chased down a nail-biting run chase to deliver PBKS their first loss of the season.
