Cricket players that are uncapped in the IPL as well as at the international level will be taken into consideration for this list. Cricket players like MS Dhoni, Sandeep Sharma, Mohit Sharma, and Karun Nair will thus not be on the list because they meet the new IPL criterion for being uncapped.
Robin Minz (Mumbai Indians)

When Minz was selected by the Gujarat Titans for the 2024 IPL, everything was his oyster, but his goals were put on hold for a year due to a tragic road accident. He was acquired by the Mumbai Indians this time for INR 65 lakh, which was more than twice his starting price of INR 30 lakh. The 22-year-old Minz, a Jharkhand power hitter who averages 181 in T20 cricket, also takes wickets.
Suryansh Shedge (Punjab Kings)

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final in 2024–25 was Shedge’s pivotal moment. When Shedge came out and hit 36 not out in 15 balls with three fours and three sixes to go along with Venkatesh Iyer’s wicket earlier in the game, Mumbai, chasing 175 against Madhya Pradesh, fell to 129-5. This concluded a tournament in which he took eight wickets and scored 131 runs at a strike rate of 252 (no typo there), the first of his career. Punjab may have struck gold.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi (Rajasthan Royals)

With his 58-ball century against the Australia Under-19s, his spectacular batting at the Under-19 Asia Cup, and his fierce assault against Mukesh Kumar in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Suryavanshi, who is only 13, has already made headlines. Suryavanshi might soon be the first cricket player younger than the IPL to participate in the IPL as Rajasthan is probably going to have an Indian-heavy batting lineup.
C Andre Siddarth (Chennai Super Kings)

Andre Siddharth, the 18-year-old nephew of Tamil Nadu legend S Sharath, has participated in the Tamil Nadu Premier League but has not yet participated in a T20 match. But a stellar Ranji Trophy, in which he scored 35 runs in each of his opening eight innings (612 runs at 68.00), clearly demonstrated his talent.
Bevon Jacobs (Mumbai Indians)

The sole foreign player on this list is Jacobs, a Pretoria native who has played for Canterbury and Auckland. He was selected for the Mumbai team for the 2025 IPL after just six T20 innings, most likely due to his strike rate of 189 at the time. After 20 games, that number has somewhat returned to the norm, but 148 is still a very good strike rate.
