As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Shubman Gill gave the Phase-VI Civil Hospital in Mohali medical equipment valued at INR 35 lakhs. A ventilator, an operation theatre light, a multi-parameter monitor, small operation theatre tables, bedside monitors, and an X-ray machine were among the vital pieces of equipment that the Indian ODI vice-captain supplied.
According to Mohali-based civil surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain, the equipment would be deployed after the needs are identified. If they needed it more than their own hospitals, they said, it could be sent to other hospitals. “After determining the need, the equipment would be put to use. The Tribune India cited her as stating, “If any other hospital is in need, it can be provided.”
According to the stories, Shubman’s aunt was there when the hospital received the equipment. In Patiala, Gill’s aunt, Dr. Kushaldeep Kaur, works as a District Immunization Officer (DIO). She was in charge of making sure the hospital’s management received the equipment. Fans on social media sites have praised Shubman’s action.

The next task for Shubman and his teammates is to play Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the top team in the table, in their backyard. One of the most anticipated games of the week will be the match between RCB and GT on April 2 at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The famous venue in the garden city will host world-class players like Gill, Josh Hazlewood, Jos Buttler, and Virat Kohli, to mention a few.
RCB are full of confidence following two comfortable victories this season. The team headquartered in Bengaluru is now leading the points table after defeating KKR and CSK at home. Alternatively, the Titans have both a victory and a defeat.
