Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket

Recently, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have declared their retirement from Test cricket. He only managed 31 runs from three Test matches during the previous tour of Australia, so it wasn’t a particularly memorable trip for him.
During his 67 Test matches, Rohit amassed 4301 runs at an average of 40.57, including 12 hundreds and 18 half-centuries. After leading India to win at the 2024 T20 World Cup, he had already withdrawn from T20Is as well.

He will playing only in ODIs for India in the international arena moving ahead. He is continuing to represent Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He has accumulated 300 runs across the course of the tournament from just 11 games, with his performance averaging 30 and, more impressively, his strike-rate reading 152.28.
Mumbai Indians are currently in fourth place with seven wins, 14 points and a match remaining in their 12th game of the season. The final few matches are highly important if they hope to climb into the top four and reach the playoffs.
