KL Rahul toasts a majestic IPL hundred, Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans

KL Rahul delivered one of his best IPL performances in the 60th IPL 2025 match between the Gujarat Titans and the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The great batter played his swings, stood up, and achieved his fifth IPL century despite the lack of support at the other end.

DC faced the difficulty of putting up a respectable total after batting first on a wicket that was comparatively slower. Faf Du Plessis, whose poor record continued with a score of 5(10), was removed from the game early. Rahul was joined by Abhishek Porel, who scored a solid knock of 30(19), including two sixes and a four.

KL Rahul Celebrate his Fifty

Axar Patel came into the middle after being dismissed and scored 25 (16), which included two fours and a six. All of the batters received starts, but Rahul was the only one who turned them into a significant one and aided DC. Tristan Stubbs came into the middle and aided Rahul when the captain was removed. Rahul was the least concerned as wickets continued to fall at the other end.

KL Rahul plays arguably the best knock of his IPL career

He kept playing his shots and going after the bowlers to keep the net run rate under control. Rahul performed what may have been his best IPL innings of his career against a formidable bowling attack that included Mohammed Siraj, Arshad Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Prasidh Krishna, Rashid Khan, and R Sai Kishore.

Rahul played aggressively yet cautiously. He hit lofted shots flawlessly, sliced the ball effectively, and played beautiful drives. Rahul played aggressively and didn’t care about a possible collapse in spite of the lack of support, which kept the home team in the match.
