The IPL 2025 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) will happen at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, June 3. No matter the winner, the IPL will see a new team take the trophy since RCB and PBKS have not yet lifted it. Their last appearance in the final was in 2016 and they have been runner-up on three occasions. Punjab have reached the final only once which was in 2014.

In Mullanpur, RCB crushed PBKS by eight wickets in the first IPL 2025 qualifier. Punjab got out for 101 in just 14.1 overs, with Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma both taking three wickets, and Yash Dayal adding two. In the chase, Philip Salt led RCB home with a score of 56* off 27. Virat Kohli, who has had an incredible IPL season, would aim to provide something exceptional in the final match of the season.

Punjab faced a tough loss in Qualifier 1 against Bengaluru, but they came back well to win against Mumbai Indians (MI) by five wickets in Qualifier 2 on Sunday. First, their bowling gave up 203-6 and in 19 overs, Shreyas Iyer (87* off 41) helped Delhi chase the target while captaining the team. PBKS will go into the final against RCB on Tuesday with lots of confidence.
