Hardik Pandya took his Instagram account to share a few pictures and videos. In some of the images, the all-rounder can be seen in open nets practicing his batting and bowling. He also shared footage of himself bowling and hitting during training, suggesting that he is very close to being fit enough to play again.

The post includes videos of himself and Mahieka praying during a traditional Hindu fire ritual, with the two dressed in traditional garb and uttering mantras. He also shared images of her at the gym. The final photo captures a sweet moment in which Hardik is seen lifting Mahieka as well.

Hardik also shared cute photos of himself and his son Agastya on the ground during training. One of the photos shows him holding his son while wearing his pads.

Following the ODIs, India will play a five-match T20I series against South Africa, commencing on December 9. Hardik is anticipated to recover in time for the white-ball series.

Hardik Pandya injured his left quadriceps during a group round play against Sri Lanka at the Asia Cup 2025. Following that, he was ruled out of the final match against Pakistan.

However, he contributed significantly to India’s triumph in the Asia Cup 2025. He was also unavailable for the Australian white-ball tour because of his ailment. The all-rounder is undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru for the next four weeks.

As mentioned earlier, he is expected to be fully fit in the process and return for the limited-overs series against South Africa at home. Hardik, who burst onto the scene in 2016, has established himself as a crucial member of India’s white-ball team. He has featured in 94 ODIs and 120 T20 internationals in his career.
