The doubleheader’s day game will be the matchup between LSG and GT. With three victories and two losses from five games, Lucknow is now ranked sixth in the standings. Gujarat has eight points and is at the top of the standings.

The Lucknow Super Giants have achieved two consecutive victories by beating Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) respectively. The two batters of Lucknow Super Giants named Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh currently hold positions among the top three run-getters throughout IPL 2025. During their five innings led to 288 runs with 225 strike rate for Pooran and Marsh scored 265 runs with 180.27 strike rate.

The Lucknow captain has the fourth-highest number of IPL dismissals among keeper-batters. MS Dhoni is at the top of the list (195). Wriddhiman Saha (113), and Dinesh Karthik (174) come behind him. Pant, meanwhile, is capable of hitting four boundaries and 300 IPL fours. 296 fours have been hit by him in 114 IPL innings.

So far in the IPL 2025, the 25-year-old has amassed 148 runs in five innings, hitting 16 fours and five sixes. In the meantime, Gill needs just one more catch to reach 50 in his T20 career. In 150 games, he has made 49 catches.

3. Shardul Thakur needs 2 wickets to achieve significant T20 milestone

LSG tempo One of the main contributors to the team’s outstanding IPL 2025 performance has been Shardul Thakur. He has taken nine wickets at an average of 20.44 in five innings, with a high of 4-34. To reach 200 wickets in his T20 career, the 33-year-old needs two more. Thakur has taken 198 wickets at an average of 26.50 and an economy rate of 8.98 in 173 games (169 innings).

4. Sai Sudharsan needs 3 sixes to complete 50 sixes in T20 cricket

Sudharsan, the in-form GT opener, has hit 24 fours and 12 sixes in five innings, including three half-centuries. The southpaw needs three more sixes to reach 50 in his T20 career.

With the help of 47 sixes and 164 fours, Sudharsan has amassed 1,785 runs in 50 games (49 innings).

5. Nicholas Pooran is 70 runs away from major T20 milestone

In IPL 2025 Pooran from LSG has exhibited outstanding batting statistics. In five matches as a left-handed powerhouse Pooran has hit three half-centuries with 25 sixes and 24 sixes to his credit. The completion of 9,000 runs in his T20 career requires Pooran to score another 70 runs. Throughout 363 innings of his 389 games Pooran generated 8910 runs while maintaining a strike rate of 150.08 and hitting three hundreds and 54 half-centuries.
