India batsman and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant was seriously injured during the opening day of the fourth Test against England. they carried him on the field in a buggy.
The match began on Wednesday at Old Trafford in Manchester. Even after treatment, his foot swelled up from the hit and he couldn’t bat. He looked in a lot of pain sitting in the buggy.
The event happened during Chris Woakes’ 68th over of the innings. Off a yorker length from the Warwickshire seamer, the left-handed batter attempted to reverse sweep. Rather, the ball struck his foot off the inside edge, and while he was being treated, the wound began to bleed. He was taken away on a buggy when the injury prevented him from continuing to bat.

Dhruv Jurel Likely to Replace Injured Rishabh Pant as Wicketkeeper for Fourth Test
As Pant’s injury appears to be significant and is currently undergoing scans, Dhruv Jurel appears to have a greater chance of keeping wickets for the Old Trafford Test. In the preceding Test match at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, Jurel had also performed the position. Due to a finger injury, the current keeper-batter walked off during both innings. In the lengthy break before the pivotal fourth Test, he had fully healed from the finger injury, but the foot blow might take longer.
