Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, is an enthusiastic cricket fan, and this is not his first time commentating on a game.
One of the notable guests at the T20 world cup 2026 between South Africa and India is Pichai at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. He took the coveted trophy to the field with the great Sunil Gavaskar prior to the start of the match. He later was seen commentating on the game with former India coach Ravi Shastri.

In the commentary, he also talked about the match at hand, but he also mentioned that he would like to appreciate Sunil Gavaskar. He continued to say that he had the former Indian captain edited on his walls as posters. Pichai also said that he was a fan of the sport since he was little.
