On Wednesday, April 23, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, the Mumbai Indians (MI) decisively defeated the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets in match 41 of the 2025 Indian Premier League. MI shot up to third place in the standings with their fifth victory in nine games.
SRH lost the toss and chose to bat first. After a poor batting display, they managed to post a below-average score of 143 for eight.
