The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the official song for the T20 World Cup 2026, which begins in just a few days. Anirudh Ravichander, a prominent Indian artist, created the song ‘Feel the Thrill’.
Anirudh not only sang the song, but also composed it. The Hindi version was written by Raqueeb Alam and the English lyrics were written by Heisenberg.
Anirudh has become the list of Indian music directors who wrote the official theme song of a home world cup. These are Shankar Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy (ODI World Cup 2011) and Pritam (ODI World Cup 2023).

When launching the official anthem to ICC T20 World Cup 2026, the ICC wrote on X:
“A song made for the biggest stage. The wait is over. The magic is here. Presenting the Official Event Song of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Feel it. Sing it. Live it.”

Anirudh Ravichander expressed his excitement at the opportunity to create the official theme song for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. He highlighted that the song’s objective was to bring together global fans.
The 35-year-old stated in the ICC’s official release:
“It’s a feeling, an emotion. I’m glad to be associated with the Feel the Thrill campaign and official song. This is our attempt to bring the global fans together in a spirited unity up and above the fierce on-field rivalry that is set to unfold across the subcontinent.”
Suryakumar Yadav led India is in Group A with Pakistan, the United States of America (USA), the Netherlands, and Namibia. They begin their campaign against the United States on February 7 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
