The 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen Vaibhav Sooryavanshi standing out for his on and off-field manners. The youngster has been playing cricket of a different level in the cricketing world, and has left everyone spellbound with his talent. And he is also displaying his good behaviour off the pitch.
In one such video posted by the Rajasthan Royals on social media, Sooryavanshi, who recently hit a century in 35 balls against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, was greeted with a garland as he reached the team’s hotel. But he handed it to a young boy waiting with other fans for the Riyan Parag led team.

How have Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Rajasthan Royals performed in IPL 2026?

Sooryavanshi recently donned the Orange Cap. At present, he shares the second position with KL Rahul in the top scorers’ list. The Bihar cricketer has scored 357 runs in eight innings with an average of 44.62 and a strike rate of 234.87. He has already hit 31 fours and 32 sixes in this season. He has the most number of sixes in the current season.
And the Royals are currently fourth in the points table. They have won five and lost three out of eight games. Having started the season with four wins, the first-time champions have lost three of their past four games.

The Royals will be back in action on Tuesday, when they take on the undefeated Punjab Kings at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. The Royals will be aiming to rebound after they lost their latest game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, April 25. The Orange Army chased down 229 runs with nine balls to spare.
