Star cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal made headlines for his lavish lifestyle on Monday, December 22, when he purchased yet another luxury car from BMW. Chahal published photos of his brand-new BMW Z4 M40i on his official social media account, alongside his mother and father. The car’s approximate on-road pricing is INR 1.06 crore.

However, the leg-spinner claims that while the car is nice, the true luxury for him is seeing his parents receive their new carrier. The Indian cricketer wanted to emphasize that his parents did all possible for him and made several sacrifices to help him reach innumerable milestones of achievement, and that presenting them a car was something he enjoyed seeing.

Shikhar Dhawan (L) and Yuzvendra Chahal (R) of India celebrates the dismissal of Brandon King of West Indies during the 1st ODI match

“Brought my new car home with the two people who made every dream possible. Watching my parents witness and relish this milestone is the real luxury. ❤️🫂🧿,” Chahal captioned the post on his official social ‘X’ handle.

Yuzvendra Chahal of India celebrates celebrates the wicket

The cricketer from India may be out of the international arena but continues to grind it out in domestic cricket to hone his skills. He will next been seen in action for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League in 2026. Significantly, Chahal was retained by PBKS after the franchise shelled out a whopping INR 18.00 crore to acquire him for the 2025 season. He is being held for his full salary next season, too.

The Punjab made it to 2025 final, and the leg-break bowler played a big part in their success. The 35-year-old appeared in 14 games this season, picking up 16 wickets all in bags of four. He is also the leading wicket-taker in the history of IPL with 221 scalps in 174 appearances. Now he can look toward reintroducing himself and upping his stats in the 2026 season.
