The six-match white ball series between Bangladesh and India (three ODIs and three T20Is) has been postponed. The matches were set for December. Although no specific cause was given, it is thought that present political tensions between India and Bangladesh played a significant influence.
A BCB official told on November 18 that they had received a letter from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The series will be played at a later date, reported ESPNcricinfo.

The series was meant to be the first on the ICC’s Future Tours Programme and Women in Blue’s last set of matches before they will play in the 2026 Women’s Premier League.
The Men in Blue were scheduled to tour Bangladesh earlier this year where they would have played a series of white-ball games. But that, too, has been delayed — to next year — with a projected September 2026 date.
“This decision has been reached following discussions between the two boards, taking into account the international cricketing commitments and scheduling convenience of both teams. The BCB looks forward to welcoming India in September 2026 for this eagerly anticipated series. Revised dates and fixtures for the tour will be announced in due course,” the BCCI had said in a statement at the time.

The two sides last met at the 2025 Women’s World Cup in Navi Mumbai. Rain interrupted the match and it ended in a ’no result’.
After WPL, the Indian team will travel to Australia for an all-format series. The series will consist of three T20Is three ODIs, and a Test. The Tigresses will now have to wait for their next round of opponents to be decided.
