India's Virat Kohli (L) and Rohit Sharma bump their fists during the first one-day international (ODI) cricket match

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are without a doubt two of the most successful cricketers to emerge from India in recent years. Both retired from Twenty20 Internationals following the Men in Blue’s victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. In May of this year, the duo also retired from Test cricket, one week apart. As a result, they only appear in one-day internationals, and anytime they have recently played for India, there has been a lot of hype surrounding them.
