Finn Allen and Tim Seifert, foreign stars for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), are putting on a show for New Zealand in their T20 World Cup 2026 match against the UAE. The game will be played in Chennai on Tuesday, February 10.
Batting first, UAE scored a competitive total of 173/6. However, Kiwi openers Finn Allen and Tim Seifert made quick work of the chase, starting brilliantly. The destructive batters attacked right away, showing no mercy. With boundaries pouring from both ends, the Kiwis scored 78/0 on the powerplay.
Fans of the team were unable to contain their emotions as KKR’s foreign players went into overdrive and put on a spectacular batting exhibition.

Finn Allen and Tim Seifert opening the batting, took charge of the chase against UAE. Both openers struck belligerent half-centuries to pile misery on to the opponent bowlers.
Seifert was the first batsman to notch up 50 runs, he made 51 in just 23 balls. He celebrated his half-century with an extravagant benchmark. Allen swiftly followed, bringing up his half-century in 27 balls with a single off Muhammad Arfan.
In the chase, they struck 50 runs in only 4.3 overs. They charged guns during the powerplay but didn’t wane in momentum even after field restrictions were relaxed and batted with same rhythm and energy. A century stand arrived in only 8.3 overs.
Furthermore, they took the partnership past the 150-run milestone in 13.1 overs.
