Mohammed Siraj, a bowler for the Gujarat Titans, won Player of the Match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday and then talked about his feelings while playing against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). According to the 31-year-old, he was emotional prior to the game but was calm after receiving the ball.
Mohammed Siraj was a member of the Royal Challengers’ roster from 2018 to 2024, however the team let him go before the 18th edition auction. He had taken 83 wickets for them at 31.44 in 87 games, and he was crucial to their 2021 and 2024 playoff runs. He has, however, defended the Titans’ ₹12.25 crore purchase of him at auction.

Siraj credited the intermission for giving him the chance to rework on his abilities and conditioning, claiming impressive numbers of 4-0-19-3. During the post-match presentation, he stated:
“I was a bit emotional. I was here for 7 years, changed jersery from red to blue and was emotional but once I got the ball I was fine. I am Ronaldo’s fan and hence the celebration.

“I had been playing consistently, but during the break I corrected my mistakes and worked on my fitness. Once I was picked up by Gujarat Titans, I spoke to Ashish Bhai. He tells me to go enjoy your bowling and Ishu (Ishant) Bhai tells me what line and length to bowl. My mindset is to have belief and then the pitch does not matter.”

The cricketer from Hyderabad got rid of Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, and Devdutt Padikkal on Wednesday. Salt was hit for a 105-meter six by the Englishman, but Siraj recovered by uprooting his off-stump at the very next delivery, making his wicket especially noteworthy.
Jos Buttler Shines with the Bat After Mohammed Siraj’s Heroics

They lost Shubman Gill for just 14, but Jos Buttler and B Sai Sudharsan barely noticed the pressure as the Ttians were left to chase down 170. Sai Sudharsan’s 75-run partnership with Buttler came to an end when Josh Hazlewood dismissed him for 49.
Buttler, however, kept up his attack on the home team, reaching his fifty off just thirty-one balls, including a maximum in the fifteenth over. With 13 balls remaining, the Englishman led his team to an eight-wicket victory, remaining undefeated at 73*.
Additionally, it is RCB’s first IPL 2025 loss.
