On the eve of their IPL 2025 encounter, Gujarat Titans (GT) bowler Rashid Khan and star Mumbai Indians (MI) batsman Suryakumar Yadav had a humorous conversation. On Tuesday, May 6, the two teams square off at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
Rashid Khan and Suryakumar Yadav were apprehended together. His iconic ‘Supla’ photo was the subject of the Afghanistani’s question. The’snake’ shot that Rashid himself does was delightfully brought up to him by Suryakumar.
The finest moment, though, was when Mohammed Siraj, a GT pacer, stepped in and finished Suryakumar Yadav’s sentence. ‘Belly dance’ is what he called it when he performed it.

Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant run with the bat for MI in IPL 2025

This season, MI’s Suryakumar Yadav has been playing at a very high level. With 475 runs from 11 innings at an average of 67.85 and a strike-rate of 172.72, he is their top scorer. He has been a reliable player and has already scored three half-centuries.
Surya Kumar Yadav demonstrated remarkable batting against Gujarat during their previous encounter by scoring 48 runs from 28 balls and sending four balls beyond the boundary and over four sixes at a rate of 171.43. The hitter scored 48 valuable runs while facing 23 balls and hit four boundaries and three sixes during the match against Rajasthan Royals (RR).

MI is third in the rankings with 14 points and has won seven of their last 11 games coming into this match. They will rise to the top of the table and get closer to qualifying if they win here. Suryakumar will want to maintain his form and score a lot of runs in this match under such circumstances.
