Mukesh Kumar, an Indian pacer, and his spouse, Divya Singh, welcomed a kid into the world. On Friday, June 27, the fast bowler announced the news on his Instagram account, stating that it marked the beginning of a new phase in his life. India’s roster for the current England trip does not include the Bengal pacer.
In November 2023, the 31-year-old married Divya Singh in Gopalganj, Bihar, his homeland.
“Together in love, now together in parenthood with our baby boy in our arms. Love & gratitude, Mukesh and Divya,” the message read in the post.
A number of Indian cricket players, both current and former, congratulated the couple on the birth of a boy.
“Badhaiiii ho Mukesh bhaiiiiiiyaaa,” current India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav wrote.
“Congratulations! God bless you,” former India spinner Pragyan Ojha wrote.
“Bohot bohot mubarak mere bhai,” pacer Mohit Sharma wrote.

Mukesh Kumar shares cryptic message after omission from India’s Test squad for England tour

In their 18-man team for the five Test series against England, India selected up to seven fast bowlers and two seam bowling all-rounders. Nevertheless, the touring party did not include Mukesh Kumar as one of the pacers.
The fast bowler recently posted cryptic tale on his Instagram handle, mentioning, Karma is unforgiving. However, the 31-year old found himself in the India A team that participated in two unofficial Tests against English Lions.

Mukesh Kumar finished with 3/92 in the first unofficial Test at Canterbury. Since making his debut in July 2023, the Bengal pacer has participated in 26 international matches for India. In Test cricket, he has claimed seven wickets, five in ODIs, and twenty in T20Is. In July 2024, he played his final Twenty20 International match for India against Zimbabwe.
