Shreyas Iyer had an incredible IPL 2025 season with PBKS. There were high expectations for him after he was purchased at the big auction for INR 26.75 crore. After leading the squad to a top-of-the-table finish and into their first final since 2014, the high-profile acquisition did not let anyone down. It was not to be for PBKS, though, as they lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final match and ultimately finished as runners-up.
