The legends in the tennis world are two people as former India great and batter Sachin Tendulkar met Sean Connery and Rafael Nadal at the Wimbledon in 2025. On Friday, July 11, he was at the Men Singles semifinals between Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz. He was seen sitting on the Royal Box of the Centre Court as he watched the match.
Tennis greats Roger Federer and Bjorn Borg posed with Sachin Tendulkar, who was dressed in a suit and tie. The legendary cricket player stood between former Swedish tennis player Borg and former Swiss player Federer.

He also made the endearing but humorous remark that he ended up in the middle of a Grand Slam sandwich.
“What’s sweeter than strawberries & cream at Wimbledon? 🍓 🎾 Finding yourself in the middle of a Grand Slam sandwich. 😃 @Wimbledon @rogerfederer Björn Borg,” Sachin Tendulkar captioned his post on X (formerly Twitter).

Federer has won 20 Grand Slam titles, whereas Borg won 11 during his professional career. The two tennis greats attended Wimbledon 2025 in formal attire as well.
Sachin Tendulkar Attends Day 1 of ENG vs IND 3rd Test at Lord’s

Sachin Tendulkar is enjoying his stay in London. The seasoned hitter also went to the first day of the current third Test match between England and India at Lord’s the day before he made his Wimbledon 2025 debut.
In fact, he rung the bell on balcony at the famous venue to signal the start of the game before the game against Day 1 was scheduled to start. Further, the Lord cricket ground, as well as Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) also paid tribute to the legend by dedicating a portrait of the legend in the Lord cricket ground museum.

He is perhaps one of the best batters in the history of the game. He amassed 15921 runs from 200 Test matches over his lengthy and distinguished international career for India, including 51 hundreds and 68 half-centuries. Along with playing 463 ODIs, the right-hander scored 1826 runs with 49 tons and 96 fifties.
Sachin also has a world cup to his name as he was a member of the Indian side which won the world cup in 2011, in the one day international version. His contribution with the bat was very important in that fateful march.
