The West Indies produced a disastrous performance against Australia in the last Test of the three-game series at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. The home team was skittled out for just 27 runs, the second-lowest total in Test history, after chasing 204 runs to win the match.
The innings ended quickly, making it the third-shortest Test innings of all time. Ace pacer Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland both performed admirably in the contest; the former claimed six wickets in 7.3 overs, while the latter recorded a hat-trick.
In just 2.3 overs, Starc became the player who picked the fastest five-fer in a Test innings while en route to the six-wicket haul. In order to complete the hosts’ innings and help Australia win the series 3-0, Starc took Windies’ final wicket by dismissing Jayden Seales.
