All-rounder Liam Livingstone of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Birmingham Phoenix (BRM) destroyed Oval Invincibles (OVL) spinner Rashid Khan in the tenth game of The Hundred Men’s 2025 competition, scoring 26 runs off of only five balls. The match took place in Edgbaston in Birmingham on Tuesday, August 12.
Livingstone welcomed Rashid with a boundary on the 76th ball of the Phoenix innings as he bowled his last five deliveries. After that, the captain went on a rampage, hitting the Afghanistan star for three straight sixes before completing the attack with another boundary on the fifth delivery. Rashid gave up 59 runs from his 20-ball quota at the end of his session.

Ben Duckett’s quick dismissal for seven gave Birmingham Phoenix an early setback as they chased 181. Then, for the second wicket, Will Smeed and Joe Clarke put up a quick 63-run partnership off just 32 balls. With a strong 51 off 29 balls, Smeed led the innings, while Clarke added a rapid 27 off 14.
Skipper Liam Livingstone stepped in at No. 4 and completely changed the game, scoring a half-century in 22 balls. With two balls remaining, the 32-year-old led his team to its first victory of The Hundred 2025, winning by four wickets. He remained undefeated with an incredible 69 from 27 deliveries, laced with seven fours and five sixes.

Oval Invincibles lost openers Will Jacks (0) and Tawanda Muyeye (5) cheaply after being called into bat earlier in the Hundred 2025 match. Sam Curran (14) and captain Sam Billings (17) failed to turn their starts into significant runs, as Jordan Cox scored 44 off 30 balls.
Donovan Ferreira was the star at No. 6, scoring 63 runs off of just 29 deliveries, including four boundaries and six sixes. The Invincibles ended their innings at 180/8 after 100 balls thanks to his stunning performance.
