The 17th Asia Cup edition will be the next competition. Only two of the 16 editions that have been played so far have been in the T20 format. The first occurred in Bangladesh in 2016, while the second occurred in the United Arab Emirates in 2022.

In the final in Mirpur, Team India defeated the hosts, Bangladesh, by eight wickets to win the 2016 tournament. After a dismal Super Four round in 2022, they were unable to advance to the final. We examine India’s top five run scorers in the T20 men’s Asia Cup ahead of the 2025 tournament.
