Kuldeep Yadav has been released from India’s team for the Australia series in order to play in the second four-day match between India A and South Africa A at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
The second four-day encounter versus South Africa A is set to begin on Thursday, November 6. Tanush Kotian’s eight-wicket performance propelled India A to a three-wicket victory in their first CoE match.
It is assumed that the decision to give Kuldeep Yadav some red-ball match practice was made by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) before India gears up to take South Africa on an all-format tour, which will constitute two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is.

Kuldeep, who had not played in the first 2 ODIs against Australia made 1/50 in 10 overs in the third and the final ODI against Australia in Sydney. The left-arm wrist spinner featured in the first two of the five-match series of T20Is, too. His performance in T20I was not so rosy in the second game as he gave 45 runs in 3.2 overs and took two wickets.
The Men in Blue, who are going to be without Kuldeep in the remaining part of the 20-over assignment, also made the series even with a five-wicket win in Hobart. The highest ranked tourists were Arshdeep Singh (3/35 in 4 overs) and Washington Sundar (49 off 23).
