India needs to win Zimbabwe on Thursday at the Chepauk stadium in order to make it to the semifinals. Two out of two might not be sufficient to the Men in Blue, with South Africa and West Indies having a higher run rate. In the meantime, they have to give their own backs against Zimbabwe.

A couple of team India changes to be expected in the playing XI against Thursdays game. Sanju Samson may be the replacement of Rinku Singh as the Men in Blue seek to end the tradition of having left-handed persons in their top three. Moreover, Axar Patel needs to come back after his fateful experiment with Washington Sundar against the Proteas.
