On the occasion of his 43rd Birthday Irfan Pathan gifted his older brother Yusuf Pathan some ultra-luxury and expensive wristwatch, Rolex. The two brothers have been best friends both in and out of the field. Presented with the watch, Yusuf was excited to have it because he liked the appearance and design of the peculiar piece.

Checking the Rolex official website revealed that Irfan chose the Rolex GMT-Master II for his adored brother. The watchmaker lists the wearable’s initial price at INR 10,88,500. However, as most people know, buying a Rolex watch involves more than just paying the amount, since even the most famous celebrities must wait in line to acquire the coveted piece.

“Sometimes even younger brothers do give a decent gift. As a younger brother, it’s my rare flex;) love you Lala @yusuf_pathan,” Irfan captioned a post on his official Instagram account.

Yusuf Pathan’s Legacy as India’s Early T20 Trailblazer

Speaking of Yusuf Pathan’s career, he is known as one of the first to adopt the modern-day T20 method. He made his international debut in the memorable T20 World Cup final in 2007 against Pakistan, which the Men in Blue won comfortably. Four years later, he used his all-around ability to help India win the 2011 World Cup, a memory that Indian fans will cherish.

He has also had a successful career in the Indian premier league (IPL). He started his IPL debut with Royals in 2008 and immediately became an instant success because of his aggressive strikes. He proceeded to become one of the most intimidating faces in the history of the league, with 435 runs during the season, and four half centuries. He also joined the Kolkata Knight Riders in winning their championships in 2012 and 2014.
