Hasin Jahan, an ex-wife of Team India pacer Mohammad Shami, published a mysterious social media remark following the veteran cricketer’s latest interview. There were attempts to frighten her, the former model said.
It is clear that Jahan would not succumb to any form of coercion even after all the efforts to ruin her life were done. She said that she did not feel the same anxiety in 2018.
In 2018, Jahan filed a formal complaint (FIR) at the Jadavpur police station against Shami and his relatives. Match-fixing and domestic violence were among the charges.
Jahan posted on Instagram:
“(If I were to be afraid of mad dogs, I would have gotten scared in 2018 itself. Try as hard as you want to scare me, ruin me, but with Aallah’s grace, I will only get stronger.)”

On June 6, 2014, Hasin Jahan and Muhammad Shami were married. On July 17, 2015, they were blessed with a daughter, Aaira. But in 2018, their marriage ended badly, after a public argument.
The Calcutta High Court last month mandated that Shami give Jahan ₹4 lakh a month in alimony, of which ₹2.5 lakh was to cover their daughter’s costs.
“I never regret the past” – Mohammad Shami opens up on troubled marriage

News 24 interviewed Mohammad Shami who was asked whether he regretted marrying Hasin Jahan. The leading bowler did clarify that he only wants to focus on his sport and does not need any scandal.
He said he didn’t regret his history and didn’t want to place blame. According to NDTV, Shami said:
“Leave that. I never regret the past. What’s gone is gone. I don’t want to blame anyone, including myself. I want to focus on my cricket. I don’t need these controversies.”

Shami failed to secure a spot in India’s 2025 Asia Cup T20 team. He is competing in the ongoing 2025 Duleep Trophy on behalf of East Zone.
