Avneet Kaur, a social media sensation and Bollywood actress, recently responded to Virat Kohli liking her photo from the 2025 Indian Premier League. The former India captain’s like on one of Kaur’s Instagram fan pages was noted by a number of admirers.
Kohli then clarified, claiming that it was an accidental like. He stated in an Instagram story that he had no intention of like the specific post.
At the trailer launch for her next movie, “Love in Vietnam,” Kaur was asked an indirect question about Kohli by a reporter. She was questioned about the positive social media reactions to her photos from a number of well-known celebrities.

In response to the query, Kaur stated:
“Milte rahe pyaar bas. Aur kya bolun? (Let the love keep coming. What else do I say?)”
Kohli’s like a photo of Kaur sparked outrage. In an Instagram post, Kohli asked fans to refrain from speculating too much about the unintentional like:
‘Love in Vietnam’, starring Kaur and Shantanu Maheshwari, will release on September 12. The Rahhat Shah Kazmi-directed film is an adaptation of the Turkish novel, ‘Madonna in a Fur Coat’.

Virat Kohli hits Lord’s nets ahead of India’s tour of Australia

The ODIs are the only international format in which Virat Kohli is still active. After India’s 2024 T20 World Cup victory, the star batsman declared his retirement from T20I cricket. In May 2025, his Test career came to an end.
The Men in Blue will play Australia in a three-match away ODI series as their next ODI assignment. The series begins on October 19 in Perth.
On Twitter, Kohli was also recently seen training in the nets at Lord s in London in anticipation of the tour. He also took pictures with the tourists who had come to see him at the spot after the training session.

In the IPL 2025, Virat Kohli last played. He scored 657 runs and this made him the highest run scorer in RCB in the entire season. The Bengaluru side became the first men to win the championship title by overcoming Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final.
