Rohit Sharma had over 10,000 screaming fans at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium when he turned out for Mumbai against Sikkim in the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy. The former Indian skipper came to VHT after a gap of seven years.
The Rajasthan Cricket Association announced that there would be free entry to the ground. Quite a few turned out to be there and cheered for the home-star Rohit as he walked in with Mumbai fans chanting ‘Mumbai cha raja, Rohit Sharma’ when Sikkim chose to bat after winning the toss led by Lee Yong Lepcha.
