The Pakistan government has officially stated that the Pakistan Cricket Team, commanded by Salman Ali Agha, will boycott the T20 World Cup 2026 match against arch rivals India on February 15. The R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo was chosen to host this match.

In case Pakistan refuses to take the field, the Men in Blue will wait for the match referee to decide on their fate.
