Virat Kohli and KL Rahul during DC vs RCB IPL 2025 match

At the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, Delhi Capitals keeper-batter KL Rahul amusingly thanked Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for getting out of Virat Kohli’s IPL 2025 match. Following the game, Kohli interrupted Rahul to mimic his ‘Kantara’ celebration, and the two engaged in lighthearted joking.

KL Rahul had a hard day on Sunday against the Royal Challengers. The Capitals won, though, with to the brilliant right-handed batter’s undefeated 93* against the same opposition at Chinnaswamy Stadium. The batsman, who was born in Karnataka, displayed the ‘Kantara’ celebration after the decisive victory by firmly planting the bat on the field.

The 36-year-old tried to make fun of his India teammate by doing the same after the RCB player ended up on the winning squad at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

“Pata hai maine kya socha tha? Match khatam karunga, yun karunga, phir tere paas aake tujhe hug karunga. Inko nahin pata na off the field kaisa hai.” (You know what I thought? I’ll finish the match, do the celebration and then come to hug you. They don’t know how we are off the field)

The two also had a heated conversation, but everything was well when they came together after the match.

Sai Sudharsan celebrates his 33-ball fifty, Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians

The veteran became the IPL 2025 top scorer after scoring 51 runs against the Capitals, giving him a total of 443 runs. But once more, B Sai Sudharsan has exceeded his total. The Gujarat Titans opener scored 39 runs in the current match against the Rajasthan Royals, bringing his tournament run total to 456.

However, because he is only 13 runs behind, the 36-year-old should support him to win the Orange Cap once more. RCB climbed to the top of the standings after defeating the Capitals by six wickets.
