On social media site X, a user posted images showing how one of his friends was evacuated from the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on Thursday, May 8, when the Punjab Kings vs. Delhi Capitals IPL 2025 match was canceled. The user’s friend complimented the BCCI for their evacuation efforts in the screenshots.
He said that no security-related announcements had been made within the arena. The observer reported that the barricades that allowed the crowd to exit the arena had been leveled by the time they arrived at the location where ticket checks were conducted.

Due to logistical issues, PBKS’ third game against the Mumbai Indians was rescheduled from the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, May 11. On Sunday, May 11, DC will play the Gujarat Titans in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium.
