Harbhajan Singh talked up about his friendship with former India captain MS Dhoni. He disclosed that he and Dhoni used to spend a lot of time together and that they were close during their playing days.
He went on to say that their hotel rooms would be connected by a wall and that they were very much in love. He did, however, say that after his playing days, the two did not frequently get together.
“When we were playing, Dhoni was very close to me. We would be together a lot and our rooms were attached as well kind of. Those days there was a lot of love. These days he has become busy and we do not meet a lot,” he said on Padamjeet Sehrawat’s YouTube channel. (23:15)

However, Harbhajan Singh added that MS Dhoni is a legend who has achieved a lot. Moreover, he believes that the previous captain of the Indian team continues to inspire others and people do their best to become similar to him.
Harbhajan played in the Indian team that won the 2011 World Cup and the 2007 T20 World Cup, both under Dhoni’s captaincy. The off-spinner played a key role in securing both victories.
Harbhajan Singh reveals his closest friends in cricket, lauds Yuvraj Singh

Harbhajan Singh disclosed his close pals from his playing days with the Indian squad in the same interview. Among the chosen few, he mentioned Ashish Nehra and Yuvraj Singh. He also mentioned that the pacers’ parents treated him like their own child and that he frequently stayed over at Nehra’s house.
“In the Indian team, I have a good friendship with Ashish Nehra, Yuvraj is an old friend. I used to stay with Ashish Nehra too at his house. His parents treated me like their kid, it was as if it were my own house. With him, even if we meet after five years or 10 years, it would be like we met right from where we left.”

Harbhajan described Yuvraj Singh as an “emotion” in his remarks. He praised Yuvraj for his achievements and for overcoming cancer. Yuvraj received a mediastinal seminoma diagnosis after the 2011 World Cup, but he completed chemotherapy in 2012 and returned to play for India.
During their time together in the Indian squad, the two recalled key moments, including their World Cup victories in 2007 (T20) and 2011.
