DC Recover from Early Collapse to Beat LSG Comfortably

In the field, DC won a comfortable six-wicket match over LSG at Ekana Cricket Stadium. LSG batted first and were bowled out at 141 and could not manage to create momentum as wickets were falling every other second. Mitchell Marsh had 35 and Abdul Samad contributed 36 to give some resistance.

LSG responded by making an early attempt with the ball, which left DC with 33/4 in the powerplay. Mohammed Shami hit the very first ball to get Rahul out and Mohsin Khan and Prince Yadav contributed with important wickets. Sameer Rizvi and Tristan Stubbs however changed the fortunes of the game by generating an unbroken 119-run partnership. Rizvi was the match-winner with 70 off 47 balls and Stubbs followed him with 39 off 47 balls, leading DC to victory with 17 balls to spare.
