In the T20 World Cup 2026 match against Namibia played in the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, there was a joy for India as Arshdeep Singh gave double pleasure to them. The left-arm pacer not only got the better of Jan Frylinck with a smart, slower delivery that the Namibian missed and was bowled but also brought up his 250th T20 wicket in style with a celebration taken off Cristiano Ronaldo.
It came in the fourth over, when Arshdeep Singh rolled his fingers on the ball taking off the pace at 120 kph. Bowling back of a length, he had Frylinck playing against the line and committing too early into his pull shot before miscuing it to deep mid-wicket where Shivam Dube took an easy catch.

Post the wicket, Arshdeep jump high in the air ala Ronaldo’s Siu celebration lapping up cheers as stadium in Delhi erupted.

With the last ball of the 12th over, Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus dished up a low full toss around off and Shivam Dube patted it back down the track.
Erasmus followed it up with some light-hearted banter, skipping to his left as he attempted to stop the ball even as Hardik Pandya too dashed in from the non-striker’s end. Both collided and lost their footing — Pandya finishing on top of Erasmus. The Namibian skipper was then seen having a bit of fun with the Indian batter as he did a push-up while Pandya was still on his back.
A gentle reminder from Gerhard Erasmus: Don’t skip gym session 😂
