India star all-rounder Hardik Pandya reached a major milestone during the T20 World Cup 2026 match against the Netherlands at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, February 18. The right-hander completed 6000 runs in T20 cricket during his 30-run innings against the Dutch. He scored those runs off 21 balls, hitting three sixes. Pandya needed just 22 runs to reach the landmark and achieved it in his 278th innings (322 matches).
Besides this, Pandya has also got 200 wickets in the T20 format thus becoming the first Indian to accomplish this rare feat of 6000 runs and 200 wickets. His medium pacer currently boasts 221 wickets (and still) in 322 games having scored 78 wickets in an IPL.

The other players who have scored above 6000 and have taken above 200 wickets in T20 cricket are Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi, and Dwayne Bravo.

He struck a vigorous blow of 52 off 28 balls against Namibia in addition to his 30 against the Netherlands. He collected 2 wickets against Namibia and Pakistan with the ball. The 32-year-old will now be targeting to continue with this good form in the remaining part of the tournament.
Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube provide a solid finish as India post 193 against the Netherlands in the T20 World Cup 2026 match

Hardik Panaday and Shivam Dube played cameos to power India to 193/6 in allotted 20 overs against the Netherlands in their T20 World match. The duo stitched together 76 runs for the fifth wicket when it mattered the most. Dube was exceptional as he remained unbeaten on 66 from just 31 balls, smashing six sixes and four fours. Captain Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma also chipped in with handy 30s.
Aryan Dutt was good with the ball for Netherlands and returned 2/19. Logan van Beek took three wickets with an economy rate of 56.

India are through to the Super 8 stage already – having defeated USA, Namibia and Pakistan. Their next game will be against South Africa at the same venue on February 22.
