On Wednesday, April 7, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener, scored a sensational knock in his match against Mumbai Indians at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in the Indian Premier league 2026. The young prodigy hit 39 off only 14 balls, one four and one five towering sixes and tore the MI bowling attack apart in a wet match.
Suryavanshi entered the field in the second over of the game, which had been cut down to 11 overs because of rain. Against Jasprit Bumrah, the first time he saw him, he made an impression with his very first bowling, the first ball he delivered was a huge six that Bumrah had misplaced. RR recorded a daunting 150/3 in 11 overs in the match propelled by Yashasvi Jaiswal who was unbeaten at the end of the game, scoring 77 off 32 balls, hitting 10 fours and four sixes at a rapid strike rate of 278.57. In the case of MI, the best bowler was AM Ghazanfar who collected 2/21 in his two overs.
