In the fourth over of the ongoing Asia cup 2025 between India and the United Arab Emirates at the Dubai international cricket stadium, Jasprit Bumrah pitched a fatal yorker to eliminate Alishan Sharafu (22 off 17) in the fourth over. Eventually, the UAE were rolled out at 57 in 13.1 overs and Bumrah provided India with the first breakthrough in the decisive battle.
Jasprit Bumrah had the last laugh against Sharafu, who hit a boundary off the final ball of the pacer’s opening over. The 22-year-old opening batsman eventually fell to a scorching yorker. The ball crashed into the off stump, sending the bails flying, as Sharafu was too late to plant his bat.

In three overs, Bumrah finished with figures of 1/19. Kuldeep Yadav, the left-arm wrist spinner, stole the show with 4/7 in 2.1 overs. Shivam Dube also contributed, taking two wickets. He delivered ten dot balls, claimed three wickets, and conceded just four runs in two overs. Hardik Pandya, who bowled the opening over, was the only Indian bowler to finish wicketless.
